Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute humanitarian education programs and activities to young people in both uniformed group and community.
- Execute the implementation plan and projects, and monitor the progress to ensure the service quality.
- Plan and organize community service for young people and coordinate training for volunteer development.
- Coordinates activities with Divisional Headquarters.
- Establish network with community partners for service collaboration.
- Assist the Manager, department and agency for service development.
Requirements:
- Registered social worker with Higher Diploma in Social Work; or
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 2 years experiences in relevant service sectors preferably in youth and volunteer service; or
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 2 years exposure as volunteer leader, preferably in uniformed group, would be considered;
- Passionate in youth work, good in interpersonal skills, well-organized and self-motivated;
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Familiar with computer software, MS office, social media and multimedia production
- 44 hours per week, mainly 5-day work, duties in evenings, weekends and public holiday are required on need basis.
