Buyer - Men's Wear

Job Descriptions:

• Formulate buying strategies, develop OTB plans and product mix allocation to optimize sales plan and gross margin
• Deploy effective merchandise ordering, replenishment and inventory control to achieve GP target
• Identify and exploit the potential products and brands to boost sales
• Negotiate with the suppliers for the product selections and buying discount rate
• Monitor sales performance and sell-through rates, as well as setting competitive pricing and discount strategies during seasonal sales periods
• Work closely with the Operation and Marketing team

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Purchasing/Merchandising/Fashion or related disciplines
• At least 6 years' buying/merchandising experience of men’s wear in local or European retail industry
• Experience in Knit and Woven garment sourcing / fashion development is an advantage
• Ability to understand customers’ needs with strong market sense
• Strong numerical sense with analytical mind
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Buyer
