BMS Engineer

Key Responsibilities

System Design:

• Develop and design BMS solutions tailored to client needs and project specifications.
• ​Create detailed design documents, including schematics and system architecture.

Installation & Commissioning:

• Oversee the installation of BMS hardware and software systems.
• Conduct system commissioning and performance testing to ensure optimal operation.

Maintenance & Support:

• Provide ongoing technical support for BMS systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform regular maintenance checks and updates to ensure system reliability and efficiency.

Collaboration:

• Work with architects, contractors, and other engineers to integrate BMS with other building systems.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on BMS-related tasks.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of system configurations, modifications, and updates.
• Prepare user manuals and training materials for end-users.

Energy Management:

• Analyze energy consumption data and recommend solutions for optimizing energy efficiency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to building management systems.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.

Experience:

• Years of experience in BMS design, installation, and maintenance.
• Experience with various BMS software platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Trane).

Skills:

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, lighting control, and energy management principles.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., BMS Technician Certification, LEED accreditation) are a plus.
