Senior Manager / Manager – Assurance (Insurance Companies Audit)

Responsibilities

• Be the auditor in charge of assurance engagements, with main focus on clients from insurance
• Be responsible for the planning and execution of audit fieldwork
• Conduct audit work and ensure fieldwork is executed and completed as planned and in accordance to the firm’s policies and procedures
• Support and act towards the BDO Global Vision
• Be committed to act with the firm’s core values and competency expectations

Requirements

• Degree holder, major in accounting or other related disciplines
• Qualified accountant
• At least 5 years of audit experience, gained with sizable accounting firm
• Solid knowledge and experience in handling audit and assurance engagements for clients from insurance sector are pre-requisites
• Excellent project management skills and outstanding leadership quality
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua
• A good and effective team player
• Be passionate for providing exceptional quality service and striving for exceeding clients’ expectations
• Travelling to the Mainland and other countries will be required
