Network Engineer(NOC)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Implement, monitor, troubleshoot and maintain transport network, international leased line and international Ethernet.
2. Support routine transport network troubleshooting, and planned maintenance.
3. Coordinate and implement transport network related maintenance operations, including planning and restoration of ad hoc services.
4. Provide technical and service support to the Network Monitoring Center.
5. On-call during non-office hours as required.
6. Responsible for analyzing and optimizing CTG's transmission network.
7. Support configuration team and problem-solving team in analyzing difficulties and issues.
8. Provide network analysis technical services to customers, such as performance evaluation, security analysis, failure analysis, etc.
9. Manage and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality performance and efficient operating costs.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree (Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Communications or related discipline)
2. 3+ years of relevant work experience in network and equipment maintenance in the transmission field
3. Hands-on experience using test instrumentation and network monitoring systems
4. Experience working with transmission equipment vendors preferred.
5. Two or more years of experience managing a team of transmission professionals preferred.
6. Familiar with SDH, OTN, DWDM equipment configuration and troubleshooting
7. Familiar with Huawei equipment and other related products.
8. Excellent communication and customer service skills, including written and verbal English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
