Structural Engineer / Assistant Structural Engineer

• To prepare structural calculation report of façade systems including but not limited to, structural steel system, curtain wall, window wall, glass wall, as well as associated temporary structure;

• To review and check preliminary structural calculations for design process;

• To closely coordinate with designer to resolve structural issues during design development; and

• To attend meetings with clients, consultants, government departments, etc, to explain and derive the concept of the structural design of façade systems.

 Requirement

• Higher diploma or above holder of Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines;

• Knowledge in the use of computer calculation software such as Strand7 and Sap 2000, AutoCAD, BIM and Microsoft Office, etc;

• Previous experience in curtain wall / glass wall / metal cladding design are preferred;

• Minimum of 4 years working experience in construction field;

• Problem solving and communication skills;

• Good command of spoken and written Chinese and English; and

• Fresh graduates or candidate with less experience will be considered for the post of an Assistant Structural Engineer.
