Job Description
Duties:
- Teach modules Higher Diploma in Music Production for Creative Industries, such as:
- Popular Instrumental Applications / Contemporary Performance
- Stage Management / Stage Sound Design and Engineering / Stage Lighting Design
- Music Studio Production / Music Technology for Media / Recording and Mixing Audio Production / Studio Construction and Operation
- Creativity and Composition / Music Theory
- Music in World Cultures / Contemporary Music Applications
- Music and Media Arts
- Start-ups in The Business World
- Perform other academic and administrative duties as required
Requirements:
- Degree holder in an appropriate discipline; with a Master’s Degree and/or Professional Qualification are/is preferred
- At least 2 years’ relevant working experience; teaching experience is preferred
- Relevant industrial experience / qualifications are preferred for teaching related modules
- For related course(s), preference will be given to candidates with knowledge / experience as follows:
- Participation in international music grading exams, such as ABRSM, Trinity, RSL, or any relevant qualifications
- Knowledge of DAW software including Logic Pro X, Pro Tools, Ableton Live X, or above versions
- Knowledge of Audio Programming software (Max/MSP)
