Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor

Key Responsibilities

Teaching:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in courses related to Education, with focus on Child Development, Educational Psychology, and/or Special Education, etc.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that foster student engagement and learning.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing timely feedback to support academic growth.

Curriculum Development:

• Collaborate with faculty to design and update curriculum materials and course offerings that reflect current research and best practices in the field.
• Integrate technology and contemporary educational practices into the curriculum to enhance learning outcomes.

Research:

• Conduct original research in areas related to psychology, with a focus on child development, educational psychology, or special needs.
• Apply for and win competitive grants
• Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.

Mentorship:

• Provide academic advising and mentorship to undergraduate and graduate students, supporting their professional development and career aspirations.
• Supervise student research projects and practicum experiences.

Service:

• Participate actively in departmental meetings, committees, and college-wide initiatives.

• Engage with the community and professional organizations to promote early childhood education and advocate for children and families.

  
  

Job Requirements:

• A doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution.
• An appropriate record of teaching, curriculum design and development in higher education.
• An appropriate and substantial record in research and scholarship.
• Demonstrated academic leadership.
• Fluency in Cantonese, Putonghua, and English will be advantageous

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Associate or Assistant Professor.
