Merchandiser (Fabric Traceability)

Job Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with fabric mills, garment vendors and laboratories on cotton DNA testing arrangement, result reporting and log sheet update.
• Understand and support the traceable fingerprint from fiber, yarn, weaving/dyeing to finished fabric, e.g. certifications and material transaction documents.
• Coordinate traceability program in collaboration with cross-functional teams as well as NY head office, to ensure of the compliance to our baseline requirements and targets.
• Manage data integrity, efficient filing and tracking.
• Support evolving sustainability projects.

Requirements :

• Graduates in Textile or Accounting disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of experiences on textile or merchandising field.
• Experience in material traceability & sustainability, knowledge of PLM, Global Textile Regulation & material certification (e.g. GRS, BCI, Oekotex, Scope, Higg, Hot Button Report, etc) are advantages.
• Demonstrate interest in sustainability.
• A self-motivator, well organized and detail minded.
• Well versed in written/spoken English and Mandarin.
• Computer literacy.
• Short notice / immediately available is preferred.
