Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Perform secretarial duties of the Council, Committees and the Association, including organizing meetings, editing and compilation of briefing materials, documentation and papers for meetings, drafting reports and taking minutes etc.

  • Handle company secretarial matters and correspondence

  • Provide administrative support to the Director General’s Office, including the senior management team (SMT) meetings, cross-unit administration support, and internal/external communications support.

  • Handle ad hoc task as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • A recognized degree in Business Management or a related field, and completion of a recognized Company Secretary or Corporate Governance course or certification.

  • Minimum 5 years of administrative and secretarial work experience, preferably in INGO/NGO setting and with company secretary experience

  • Strong organization, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Competent in accuracy and due process, and work under pressure with tight deadlines

  • Preparedness to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required

  • Excellent language skills, in both spoken and written English and Chinese.

  • Proficient in computer applications

  • Identification with Oxfam’s mission and vision is a must.
