Trade Manager

About the role

Anyang Trading Co., Ltd. is a leading freight forwarding company and we are seeking an experienced Trade Manager to join our dynamic team. As a full-time Trade Manager, you will play a key role in managing the company's international trade operations and driving strategic initiatives to grow the business.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the end-to-end freight and cargo forwarding process, including managing logistics, customs clearance, and documentation
• Negotiate and finalise contracts with suppliers, carriers, and other third-party service providers to secure competitive rates and ensure timely delivery
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
• Identify new business opportunities and market trends, and propose strategies to enhance the company's competitiveness
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of trade activities
• Monitor and analyse trade-related data to generate insights and inform decision-making
• Ensure compliance with all relevant trade regulations, laws, and industry standards

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2-5years of experience in a trade management or freight forwarding role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industry
• Thorough understanding of international trade procedures, customs regulations, and logistics operations
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with the ability to secure favourable terms for the company
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
• Proficient in data analysis and report generation to support strategic decision-making
• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is preferred
