Product Compliance Officer

Job Description

• Responsible for checking regulations are accurate and up to date for all major markets, ensuring legal compliance is communicated and implemented
• Numerate and literate with good communication skills, able to relay with all parties giving clear and concise advice and instruction on compliance programs to ensure the overall product accuracy
• Monitor the testing program(s) of company products to ensure the legal compliance and various standards in different markets and from different clients
• Implement and maintain the compliance programs with Compliance Manager, to liaise with nominated test houses, and manage their performance with clear KPIs
• Develop and maintain company’s guideline, SOP, and compliance documents
• Any other tasks as assigned by Compliance Manager

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree major for textile, garment, chemical, environment or other related major
• Sound understanding of worldwide regulations (i.e. REACH, CPSIA, Prop 65) and international test methods
• Excellent communication and organisational skills dealing with all internal & external parties giving clear and concise advice and instruction
• High standard of integrity and compliance understand importance of the diligence required to maintain accurate records and have the tenacity to pursue the correct information as required from all parties
• Self-motivated and desire to succeed with ability to take on a breadth of work scope to deliver positive and commercially viable outcomes
• Good command of spoken English and Mandarin, and excellent written English ability essential
• Immediate available is highly preferred
