The mission of the Centre for English and Additional Languages (CEAL) at Lingnan University, a leading liberal arts institution in Asia, is to enhance the English language skills of Lingnan students and to provide language support to help students succeed in their academic studies and future careers. The Centre provides compulsory and elective English courses as well as organising a range of co-curricular language activities. CEAL also offers courses in additional languages such as Korean, Japanese, Spanish, and French.

General Requirements

The Centre is looking for a part-time Academic English Language lecturer to teach Academic English language courses at the undergraduate level. Applicants should have: (i) experience in teaching English at the university level (preferably to students in Hong Kong); (ii) at least a master's degree in English Language and Literature or a relevant field (Ph.D. preferred); and (iii) a English language teaching certificate (preferred).

Appointment 

The conditions of appointment will be competitive. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be normally made on contract basis.
