Senior Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities: 

• Conduct research and analysis to identify and evaluate potential design solutions, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Design and create 3D models, drawings, and prototypes using Pro-E or Solidworks and other tools.
• Assist in mechanical and electronics installation.
• Design prototypes according to features and specifications.
• Provide technical support for experimental set-ups & trials.
• Conceptualize and develop new products or processes in collaboration with the R&D team and other stakeholders.
• Prepare mechanical drawings and industrial design drawings.
• Document all testing, design changes, and other relevant information in project reports and other documentation.
• Participate in design and project review meetings to provide updates and recommendations.
• Support all the trial runs in our Supplier factories.

 Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering or related disciplines
• 5-8 years or above of experience in new product development in the area of Small Domestic Appliances.  Candidates with less experience may be considered as Mechanical engineer.
• Proven experience in mechanical design, product development, and testing.
• Proficiency in using design software and other engineering tools, including Pro-E and Solidworks.
• Excellent communications and teamwork skills.  Solid project management experience is a plus
• Attention to details and ability to document and organize project information.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Experience in waterproof design is a plus.
• Experience in fan blade design & developing products with filtration.
• Familiar with industry standards and regulations.
• Knowledge of 3D printing technology is a definite plus.
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Willing to travel to China.

5 days work per week, nice working environment in a dynamic field.
