Assistant Buyer

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the brand portfolio, including beauty, home and lifestyle and accessories, to meet sales projections and sell-through targets.
• Build strong relationships with vendors through effective communication.
• Monitor delivery schedules, evaluate sales reports for markdowns, and provide weekly updates to management on performance and risks.
• Work with planning and division managers to optimize OTB investment by brand and ensure alignment with retail, marketing, and visual merchandising teams.
• Conduct regular store visits to gather qualitative feedback from the sales team and implement action plans based on insights.
• Prepare and conduct various training materials for the retail team to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Improve efficiency in the buying process, stock allocation, and reporting by creating templates and reports

Skills and Qualifications

• Degree holder in fashion or business-related discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience is a must.
• Experience in branded merchandise buying, store consolidation, product replenishment, and management is essential
• Detail oriented, proactive, sensitive to numbers with problem-solving mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong communicator
• Excellent literacy in Microsoft Office application, proficient in Excel. (Pivot Table, Vlookup, Formula…etc.)
• Proficient in spoken & written English and Chinese.
