BIM Programmer (C#/Web)

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the entire application lifecycle (requirement, design, develop, test, release and support).
• Develop custom BIM add-ins to enhance the functionality of BIM modeling software, automate tasks and improve BIM workflow efficiency.
• Implement frontend components using Vue.js and backend REST services using Node.js.
• Integrate BIM models and external data sources (APIs, IoTs) with Web Technologies and Autodesk Platform Services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD infrastructure for software development and deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable software releases.
• Collaborate with BIM professionals to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in BIM related technologies and digital transformation in AEC industry.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, software engineering or related technical field, or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, familiar with at least 1 other programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash.
• Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like Vue.js or React.
• Knowledge and experience of backend technologies such as Express.js or Spring Boot and database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, MongoDB.
• Knowledge of responsive web design, UI/UX principles to create user-friendly websites.
• Understanding of software development principles and best practices, Capable of Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Proficient in using version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of networking concepts, security principles and experience with infrastructure setup and management.
• Familiarity with Linux system administration and shell scripting, particularly Ubuntu.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Enthusiastic about new frameworks, quick learner, adaptable, open-minded, eager to acquire new technology skills.

Preferable/Bonus:

• Experience in add-in development and customization for BIM modeling software is a plus.
• Experience with WebGL/OpenGL and computer graphics is a plus.
• Experience with integration of APIs and various data sources, particularly Autodesk Platform Services and Azure IoT Hub is a plus.
• Familiarity with BIM software, standards and workflows is a plus.
• Experience with Alibaba Cloud Services, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience with web server technologies such as Caddy, Apache or Nginx, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar is a plus.
• Knowledge of system monitoring and troubleshooting tools is a plus.
• Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise deployment and administration is a plus.
