Role Overview

The Supplier Quality Engineersecures product quality for high-end loose furniture, custom joinery and related FF&E/OS&E items. The role is mainly factory- and site-focused in China, with regular travel to Hong Kong and eventual overseas missions to support project installations quality supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1.     Product & Factory Quality

• Inspect high-end furniture and custom joinery at factories to ensure compliance with technical specifications, samples and Five Keys standards.
• Review and validate drawings, shop drawings, finishes, and pre-production samples.
• Identify non-conformities, define corrective actions with suppliers, and follow through to closure.

2.     Process & Documentation

• Establish and maintain QC checklists, inspection reports and approval workflows across projects.
• Ensure proper traceability of materials, finishes, hardware and production stages.
• Support continuous improvement of quality standards, SOPs and reporting tools.

3.     Project Support

• Work closely with Procurement, Project Management, Logistics and Installation teams to align on quality expectations, timelines and constraints.
• Provide technical input during supplier selection, value engineering and mock-up reviews.

4.     On-Site Quality

• You may be required to perform quality supervision on selected installation sites oversees.
• Check delivered items versus BOQ, drawings and room layouts; record defects and coordinate remedial actions.

Your Profile

• Agility is key! Demonstrated versatility and entrepreneurial mindset. We value cross department tasks management.
• 5–7 years’ experience in quality engineering or quality control, ideally in furniture, custom joinery, interior fit-out or hospitality projects.
• Solid understanding of FF&E and OS&E products, materials and manufacturing processes.
• Strong technical reading skills (drawings, specifications, tolerances).
• Structured, detail-oriented, with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
• Comfortable working in factories and on construction/installation sites.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or project tools is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus.
