Senior Engineer / Project Engineer / Engineer (Structural)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all engineering activities including design, calculations, material preparation, fabrication, and construction supervision.
• Monitor and inspect subcontractors’ technical work, designs, and methods for quality and compliance.
• Perform structural calculations for temporary works to ensure adherence to relevant codes and regulations.
• Liaise with authorities for project submissions and follow-up actions.
• Provide technical advice on structural site works and develop design concepts and detailed plans.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, preferably from courses listed in the HKIE's List of Accredited Programmes.
• Membership of the HKIE (Civil/Structural Engineering Discipline) or other relevant professional qualifications is highly preferable.
• At least 5 years’ experience in structural engineering with main contractors, familiar with Concrete/Steel Structure codes and BD submissions.
• Proficiency in Structural/Geotechnical analysis software is preferred
• Well-organized and self-motivated with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
• Immediate available is a definite advantage
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Structural Engineer.
