Sales Executive - Marine Product Sales

We are seeking a motivated sales person to join our expanding sales team to help grow our business with an emphasis on expanding our Business to Business (B2B) sales.

We are a Hong Kong based distributor of marine parts and systems for the leisure marine industry. Previous experience with equipment for yachts, super yachts and other types of vessels is preferable for this position, but not essential.

The role will involve establishing and maintaining good relationships with both new and existing customers in Mainland China and elsewhere in Asia. Our customers include Boat Builders, Resellers, Yacht Clubs and Boat Owners.

The position will require regular travel (2 to 4 times per month on average) to Mainland China and possibly other locations from time to time.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and goal-oriented. They should have a high standard of English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.

 What we need :

• Hold a Diploma or above ideally in  marketing, business or engineering fields.
• Have 5+ years experience in a sales position  --  experience in technical sales (marine) would be an advantage.
• Ability to understand basic electrical and mechanical operations to be used in sales presentations is an advantage.
• Fluent in both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated approach to sales duties.
• Good telephone and interpersonal skills to deal with customers and prospective customers.
• Able to identify, pursue, and capitalize on new sales opportunities.
• Prepare sales forecast & sales presentation.
• Maintain, manage, and grow existing accounts in the customer base.
• Be a team player  --  able to work with other staff in the company as a member of the “Team” to achieve sales goals.
• Service-oriented  --  understanding that a large portion of sales success is from good customer service.
• Immediate availability preferred.
