CAD Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and revise AutoCAD drawings including layout plans, wiring diagrams, schematics, and as-built drawings for electronic security systems (CCTV, ACS, etc.).

• Interpret design specifications, site plans, and technical documentation to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings.

• Collaborate closely with project engineers and project managers to align design intent with actual site conditions.

• Maintain an organized drawing repository and adhere to drawing standards, layer conventions, and file naming protocols.

• Assist in documentation required for submission to clients and local authorities.

• Conduct occasional site visits to verify conditions or support redline mark-ups.

• Coordinate with Engineers as needed.

Requirements: 

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Engineering, or related technical field.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in AutoCAD drafting; prior experience in security system or M&E design is an advantage.

• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D essential; 3D is a plus).

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
