Research Assistant (Full-time/Part-time) (3 posts) in the School of Creative Media (Appointment up to 24 months) [Ref. T/068/25]
The Creative Media Policy Observatory is recruiting multiple Research Assistants.
Project
An Observatory for Video Game Policy: Player Experience and Corporate Compliance
Duties
-
Assist in data collection and analysis;
-
Write research reports;
-
Submit research reports for publication in journals and presentation at conferences;
-
Liaise between research collaborators and handle other enquiries and correspondence;
-
Promote research through social media posts;
-
Record and catalogue research achievements in internal systems;
-
Assist in claiming expenses and making purchases for research purposes;
-
Assist in organising conferences;
-
Provide logistical support for Departmental events and activities; and
-
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Law/Psychology/Communications, or other disciplines related to creative media policy;

Good command of written and spoken English;
-
Good interpersonal, communication and organisational skills;
-
Strong proficiency in computer software applications;
-
Being attentive to work details and task quality;
-
Ability to work independently;
-
Proficiency in other languages, including Chinese (such as Putonghua); and
-
Knowledge of and experience in games, statistical software and Elsevier Pure would be an advantage.

Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. For full-time appointment, fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
