As a Systems Engineer (Field Services) at UNOTECH, you will be pivotal in delivering exceptional on-site technical support and services to our clients. Your role will focus on hands-on implementation, maintenance, and optimization of IT solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and operational excellence in the field.

Requirements

• At least 2–3 years of experience as a Technical Post-Sales Engineer or Field Services Engineer
• Knowledge of vendor products (e.g., HPE, Red Hat, Huawei, Veeam) is highly desirable
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of management
• Self-motivated, flexible, and responsive to client needs and concerns
• Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environment, managing a high volume of planned and unplanned requests
• Capable of executing instructions accurately and seeking clarification when necessary

Responsibilities

• Assess client requirements to define the scope of work, estimate resources needed, and support senior engineers in preparing quotations
• Install and configure IT services and solutions according to approved implementation plans
• Perform technology, professional, and maintenance support services within agreed timelines
• Provide Level 1 support, including basic hardware break-fix and troubleshooting of hardware/software issues
• Deliver technical documentation, including project plans, user acceptance test (UAT) documents, and as-built documentation
• Ensure high-quality service delivery that meets or exceeds customer client service level agreements (SLAs)
• Participate in technical training and obtain certifications to meet supplier mandatory requirements
• Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for clients as part of professional services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Certifications such as:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
  • VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV)
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate
• Additional certifications such as HPE, IBM AIX, Veeam, Microsoft, Huawei, Red Hat Certified Linux Professional, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are a plus
