Supervisor (Air-conditioning or Electrical)

Work location : Shum Wan

Qualification

a. Either (I) A Certificate or above in Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical / Air-conditioning Engineering issued by an Institute of Vocational Education or equivalent, and at least three (3) year's post-qualification supervisory experience in the operation and maintenance of HVAC installation;

OR (II) At least ten (10) year's post-apprenticeship supervisory experience in the operation and maintenance of HVAC installation;

b. Possess a valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate;

c . A registered electrical worker under the category of Grade R(AC) or Grade A electrical work or above; and

d.Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

Job Duties

The supervisors shall carry out the following duties, unless otherwise instructed by the Service Manager or its delegate:

(a) As the gang leader in respect of any of the Works in the corresponding venue. In the absence of the supervisor (air- conditioning or electrical) in a venue, one of the Technician I (air- conditioning or electrical) of the venue shall act as the gang leader; and

(b) Supervise the daily operation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance and overhaul in assigned venues and/or unattended venues performed by the Technician I and Technician II (air-conditioning or electrical or mechanical).
