SubAgent / Site Engineer

About the role

Kuly Construction & Engineering Company Limited is seeking a talented SubAgent / Site Engineer to join our team in San Tin Yuen Long District. This is a full-time position that will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our construction projects. As a SubAgent / Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site operations and ensuring the seamless execution of our projects.

What you'll be doing

1. Coordinating and supervising the work of subcontractors and construction crews to ensure adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards
2. Monitoring site activities, identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise
3. Preparing and maintaining accurate records, reports, and documentation related to project progress and performance
4. Communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns
5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and best practices
6. Participating in the planning and implementation of temporary works and site logistics
7. Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team as needed

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a SubAgent or Site Engineer in the construction industry
3. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels
6. Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools
7. Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols
8. Familiarity with local regulations, codes, and standards related to construction projects
