Sourcing Support Coordinator / Merchandising Assistant (Footwear)

Responsible for the maintenance of information on our Product Lifecycle Management system, to ensure that all information is correct and analysed to ensure no duplication.  This includes: 

• Updating and completing bill of materials for bulk production following development process

• Generating bill of materials for additional suppliers

• Plan and conduct scheduled audits of data held. 

Support the Global Sourcing Team with all other duties, to include: 

• Updating documents on our web-based document sharing system for offshore suppliers

• Go to person for all specification queries including our offshore suppliers.

• Collate product weight and dimension information from offshore suppliers.

THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART 

• You will b e a diploma holder, with at least 5 years of experience in apparel / accessories / footwear sourcing or merchandising area with an understanding of the manufacturing process.

• An understanding of the concept of bill of materials and how they are built would be an advantage.

• This is a fast-paced role working to tight deadlines, so you’ll be comfortable working at pace and maintaining accuracy in your work.

• You’ll be a confident user of the Microsoft Office packages and other systems (Bill of Materials systems experience would be an added bonus)

• Strong administrative skills

• Customer service experience & a customer centric mindset

• Experience liaising with internal & external stakeholders in a global context; this includes verbally & in writing.

• You’ll be a fast learner be able to retain & recall large amounts of information with accuracy.
