Software Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead the development of a state-of-the-art programming education platform.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Conducting advanced research and development (R&D) focused on creating an interactive Learning Management System that meets contemporary educational needs.
2. Developing and implementing full-stack web technologies, including proficiency in React, NodeJS, and database management systems such as MongoDB or MySQL.
3. Collaboratively designing and accurately capturing client requirements to ensure the system aligns with user expectations.
4. Exploring and integrating machine learning algorithms to enhance the support provided to educators in their administrative and educational responsibilities.
5. Creating generative AI features to deliver personalized feedback and insights on student work, thereby augmenting the learning experience.
6. Researching and developing sophisticated algorithms for the generation of tailored learning paths and comprehensive reports, benefiting both educators and students.
7. Leading and executing rigorous unit testing to ensure the system's reliability and efficiency.
8. Managing and guiding both onsite and remote teams through the implementation process, ensuring a cohesive and effective development strategy.
9. Documenting all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial design through implementation and testing, ensuring clear and concise records for future reference and team collaboration.

This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and a passion for innovation in the educational technology space.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in software development, with a focus on educational technologies an asset.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages and software development tools.
• Experience with machine learning and AI technologies.
