Duties include:

  • Plan and source IT-related equipment or spare parts for all maintenance contracts
  • Procure any urgent parts requested by Engineers
  • Source materials for all RFQs sent by the Sales team
  • Respond to internal customers and suppliers regarding order status, changes, or cancellations
  • Regularly negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, product quality, and delivery options
  • Evaluate supplier quotations to ensure costs are within budget
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers and establish KPIs for supplier performance evaluation
  • Verify new suppliers by sending registration forms and update the vendor list accordingly
  • Handle shipping and customs-related issues for all APAC countries, track, receive, and stock all
  • ordered items
  • Process RMAs for any DOA or faulty parts from suppliers, and ensure timely returns, replacements, or refunds
  • Conduct annual inventory audits and provide reports for assigned areas
  • Review internal procurement processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements such
  • as SOPs or workflows for Purchasing and Planning
  • Prepare reports as requested by management
  • Undertake any special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties as specified by

 

Management

  • Serve as a backup for the AP Supply Chain Team during their leave, and vice versa
  • Work closely with the Delivery, Sales, Administration and Finance teams
  • Travel for work-related purposes where required

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles within the IT services or hardware maintenance industry.
  • Proven track record in sourcing IT equipment, spare parts, and managing vendor relationships in a technical environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to achieve cost savings while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Knowledge of APAC shipping, customs regulations, and inventory management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in reporting, process improvement, and tools like ERP or procurement software.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations, multitask, and travel for work-related purposes.
