Senior Network Engineer/Network Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Consultant, Senior Network Engineer or Network Engineer to join our dynamic team at M.I.P. International Limited. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our robust network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance for our clients. Based in our Cheung Sha Wan office, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support and driving innovative network solutions.

What you'll be doing

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and related hardware and software components
• Troubleshooting and resolving network-related issues, ensuring prompt and effective problem resolution
• Analysing network performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimisation strategies
• Configuring and administering network monitoring and management tools
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan, implement, and test network changes and upgrades
• Providing technical support and training to end-users, as required
• Staying up-to-date with the latest network technologies, trends, and best practices

What we're looking for

• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Engineer, preferably in a similar industry
• Extensive knowledge of network protocols, architectures, and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP, Firewalls, VPN)
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment from leading vendors (e.g., Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, Ruckus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex network issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Certification in network engineering (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, HCIA/HCIP) is highly desirable
