The appointee will provide secretarial assistance to the Director of Finance, including handling confidential and sensitive information, such as personnel-related matters.
Major responsibilities include:
- Organizing meetings, providing logistical support, editing Committee and Council meeting papers and other documents;
- Supervising a team to provide secretarial and administrative support to various units in the Finance Office;
- Providing administrative support including handling incoming and outgoing correspondences and enquiries, maintaining personnel-related systems, updating organizational chart; and
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance.
Applicants should possess a higher diploma or above with at least 5 years of relevant secretarial/ administrative working experience. Candidates should have good interpersonal and communication skills, and be responsible, proactive, self-motivated, detailed-oriented, highly organized and able to work both independently as well as in a team. A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) are required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
