Job Description

Project Title: Exploring the antecedents and effects of organizational ambidexterity in Chinese contexts

[Appointment Period: 5 months]

The appointee(s) will provide research and administrative support to the Project Team. The project aims to identify key factors contributing to organizational ambidexterity in Chinese schools, with a specific focus on leadership and management strategies, and analyze the relationship between ambidexterity and various school and teacher outcomes.

The appointee(s) will be responsible for conducting literature reviews, assisting with quantitative data cleaning and analysis, drafting research reports assisting in the coordination and administrative work of the project, and performing any other duties assigned by the Principal Investigators. The appointment will be up to a period of 5 months.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, or related disciplines, with high proficiency in English. Proficiency in Chinese would be an advantage. Experience with quantitative methods and data analysis is essential, while a Master's degree in a related discipline will be advantageous. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate proficiency in data cleaning and management, basic regression analysis, and advanced quantitative methods including multilevel modelling and structural equation modelling. Familiarity with various statistical software tools such as SPSS, Stata, R and/or Mplus will be considered a plus. Applicants should also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently and collaboratively. Immediate availability is preferred.
