Quality & Production Controller

As a Quality & Production Controller (Women/Men/Kids), you will responsible for analyzing non-conformities, implementing corrective actions, risk assessment to secure and enable the industrialization of collections in compliance with quality standards.  He/she also participates the approval of Pre-Production Sample (PPS) before bulk production.  This position handle in projects for the continuous improvement of materials and products and their maintenance to optimize product durability.  In this capacity, you will knows how to intervene on textile product.

In this position, you will work together with different departments & external party (Collection, Product Developer, HQ Quality, Sourcing, Marketing, Supply Chain, 3rd Party & Vendor).

ROLE & RESPONSABILITIES

§  Collaborate with Garment Technician & Product Developer in HK & HQs Team in France.

§  Undertake product risk assessments to HQ & market

§  Approval on correct warnings and care symbols for product packaging, instruction manuals and rating labels to ensure product compliance and safety.

§  Responsible for OK Production Sample for production follow up.

§  Arrange PP Meeting with vendor to have smooth production.

§  Collect and dispatch Inspection document share with 3rd Party on time.

§  Arrange INLINE to review TOP sample and provide comment to vendor.

§  Review Final Inspection report, provide comment to vendor when failure and CAP control before reinspection.

§  Ensure customer / supplier compliants and enquiries are effectively handled.  Work proactively with the suppliers and product development team to reduces returns rates.

§  Review vendor performance by season on quality area and discuss with vendor how to improve.

§  New vendor training on Quality Process, Inspection requirement etc.

§  Visit new factory for pre-audit before factory onboard.

PROFILE

§  Minimum 10 years related experience in Quality Controller at Textile & Garment industry.

§  Coming from Outdoor & Premium brands is mandatory.

§  Higher Diploma or degree holders in Textile & Fashion related filed.

§  Strong knowledge of clothing construction, materials, fit & manufacturing process, quality control etc.

§  Dynamic, Detail-Oriented, Proactive

§  Sharp communication in English and Mandarin, open-minded & willing to communicate with others

§  Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline.

§  Willing travel to factories for production monitoring.

§  Competent with MS Office, PLM software.
