Quality Assurance Manager (Cookware)

- Factory Evaluation/audit: Conduct factory audit to assess the technical and quality capabilities of new factories

- Quality requirement – General/Customers: maintenance of latest quality specifications and make sure our suppliers are aware of our quality requirements.

- Pre-production briefing: evaluate the mass production feasibility and critical control points for new items after sample is approved for mass production. Organize pre-production meeting with factory for new or high risk items.

- Final Inspection: define and maintenance of procedures and testing requirements during inspection. Provide instructions and training to QCs. Review all inspection reports and update to server/SAP on time.

- Complaints handling: carry out investigation after receiving complaints/CARs. Conduct root cause analysis with suppliers and suggest corrective and preventive actions.

- Continuous Improvement of Suppliers: regular visits to all suppliers to follow up quality issues. Identify improvement opportunities for each supplier. Monitor suppliers on the progress of quality improvement.

- QC evaluation: regularly evaluate and report the performance of individual QC.

- Lab Testing: arrange testing reports based on the requests from customers and R&D.

- New Product development: to support R&D in product development phases.
 

 Requirements

Education: higher diploma or above in quality or engineering disciplines.

Work experience: 3+ years of experience as a QA Manager. Less experience will be considered as Assistant QA Manager.

Language: good written and spoken English

Computer literacy: Outlook, Words, Excel, Powerpoints

Frequent traveling is required
