The appointee will be responsible for (a) providing secretarial and administrative support to relevant committees and meetings; (b) planning, organising and coaching student bodies on organising student activities; (c) managing campus facilities including but not limited to student hostels; (d) assisting in planning, co-ordination, management of activities and events organised by the College Office and/or the Student Development Office; and (e) performing other duties as assigned. Irregular working hours, including evenings and weekends will be required.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university; (ii) at least 3 years’ office administrative and project management experience, preferably in a tertiary institution related to youth or university students; (iii) an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua); (iv) proficiency in computer applications, such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Chinese word-processing; (v) strong organisational, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills; (vi) the ability to work independently and as a team member; (vii) experience in supervising staff; and (viii) a positive mindset with self-motivated work attitude.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
