About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Merchandiser Non-Food to join our dynamic team in Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong District. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for effectively planning, implementing, and optimising our non-food product range to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.

What you'll be doing

1. Support Merchandising Manager in sourcing of products and suppliers for EDEKA & partners
2. Support negotiation of price, lead time and other business aspects with suppliers
3. Manage order process and follow-up with suppliers and factories
4. Co-ordinate all offer samples, prepare all buying trip information & report
5. Maintain and update order tracking system
6. Coordinate and dispatch parcels to buyers and suppliers
7. Organize and maintenance of sample storage and clearance
8. Arrange the sealed samples for inspection & send back to suppliers on time
9. Co-ordinate administrative duties with other departments such as Import, QA, Design, Corporate Sustainability, etc
10. Protect and uphold quality and standards of EDEKA & partners in the whole value chain without compromise
11. Ensure partnership relations with our major business partners and suppliers

12. Support general clerical duties

    
    

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or above in merchandising industry, relevant experience in Seasonal or Garden is a must, DIY & Stationary welcomed

2. Experience of at least 2 - 4 years in a buying office or trading company
3. Conversant with MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet
4. Proficiency in spoken & written English, Cantonese & Mandarin is a must
5. Self-motivated, ability to work in a team and attention to details
6. Hardworking, good time management and organizational skills
7. Ability to handle pressure and willing for routine work
8. Experience in the relevant product category would be an advantage
9. Familiar with EU market trends and standards would be an advantage
10. IMMEDIATE availability is preferrable.
