The Undergraduate (UG) Programs Office of the HKUST Business School is searching for a capable, self-motivated and dynamic individual to fill the position of Manager in the Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions Team. Reporting to the Assistant Director, the appointee will work with the team on student recruitment and admissions, major responsibilities include:
- formulate strategies, compile marketing contents and execute marketing campaigns and events for student recruitment;
- conduct admission talks, build rapports with local and non-local high schools and organize outreach programs and events for prospective students;
- lead the business student ambassadors' program and deliver social media initiatives;
- screen, assess and admit students for business undergraduate programs;
- supervise the admission process and administer admission databases; and
- coordinate interviews and engagement activities for selected applicants.
Working outside normal office hours and occasional travel outside Hong Kong may be required.
Applicants should have a good honors degree with at least 7 years of post-qualification work experience. The ideal candidate should be a proactive and efficient team-player with good sense of judgement, analytical mindset and excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua). High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, webpage and social media content management and knowledge of statistical analysis is highly desirable. Understanding of local and international education systems and qualifications is a definite advantage.(Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
