Laboratory Technician / Laboratory Assistant

To cope with our fast expansion in Hong Kong, we are currently seeking high caliber professionals to join this promising field:

Job Responsibilities:

• Directly responsible for the processing and storage preparation of cord blood and umbilical cord units according to laboratory Standard Operation Procedures
• Plan, set up and undertake controlled experiments and trials
• Monitor the laboratory consumables in stock are well organized 
• Handle and accurate recording laboratory data, present results to Lab Manager/ Lab Director
• Demonstrate of procedures and scientific analysis
• Receive and accept of incoming materials
• Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Write reports, reviews and summaries
• Participate in-house and external training as required
• Maintain safe and clean working environment in the lab
• 5-day week (09:00 - 18:00), roster duty on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holiday required

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree or Higher Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biological Science, Biotechnology or Life Science related disciplines. Fresh graduates are also welcome.
• Experience in processing of cord blood or performing laboratory testing would be an advantage, but not a must 
• Experience in phlebotomy would be an advantage
• High sense of responsibility and teamwork
• Able to work independently and without supervision
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Must be Hepatitis B immunized
• Candidate with Registered Part II MLT will be considered as Medical Laboratory Technician
