About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing the acquisition of goods and services, ensuring cost-effective, timely, and high-quality purchases to support our organization’s operations across the APAC region.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and source IT-related equipment and spare parts for all maintenance contracts.

Procure urgent parts as requested by Engineers.

Source materials for all RFQs submitted by the Sales team.

Communicate with internal customers and suppliers regarding order status, changes, or cancellations.

Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, product quality, and delivery options.

Evaluate supplier quotations to ensure costs align with budgetary requirements.

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, establishing KPIs to evaluate supplier performance.

Verify new suppliers by sending registration forms and updating the vendor list.

Manage shipping and customs-related issues for APAC countries, tracking, receiving, and stocking ordered items.

Process RMAs for DOA or faulty parts, ensuring timely returns, replacements, or refunds.

Conduct annual inventory audits and provide detailed reports for assigned areas.

Review and improve internal procurement processes, identifying bottlenecks and recommending SOPs or workflows.

Prepare reports as requested by management.

Undertake special assignments and ad-hoc duties as specified by Management.

Act as a backup for the AP Supply Chain Team during their leave, and vice versa.

Collaborate closely with Delivery, Sales, Administration, and Finance teams.

Travel for work-related purposes as required.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or a similar role.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Knowledge of IT-related equipment and spare parts is a plus.

Familiarity with shipping and customs processes in the APAC region.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal teams and external suppliers.

Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate costs and supplier performance.

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
