Full Stack Developer / QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer and QA Engineer to join our dynamic team to provide services to one of the most energetic and digitalized Insurance companies in Hong Kong (Will be listed soon).

Full Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Create responsive and visually appealing UI according to Figma design specifications.
• Integrate backend APIs with frontend applications to ensure seamless functionality and user experience.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support application requirements.
• Participate in system, database, and architectural design based on project requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.
• Lead and mentor offshore teams, ensuring effective communication and project delivery.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance code quality.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development with proficiency in Java, Node.js, React.js, and React Native.
• Strong database experience with MySQL and MongoDB.
• Proven experience in using Agile methodology and leading agile teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Proficient in English
• Insurance industry experience is a significant advantage.

QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare test cases and conduct functions & features testing, including front-end and back-end testing.
• Work closely with the development team and product owner to understand the requirement
• Prepare report for test result and progress.
• Ensure the test cases cover normal, exception and critical scenarios.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• Working experience of testing on web application, mobile application OR application with AI feature is a plus.
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance best practices and methodologies
• Experience with software lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Knowledge of test case management, version control & defect tracking
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and documentation skills.
• Able to understand the requirement and analyze testing issues independently.
