Job Description
Executive Officer in the Office of the Senior Vice-President (Innovation and Enterprise) (Appointment for 6 months) [Ref. T/096/25]
The appointee will support the Entrepreneurship Team of the Office.
Duties
-
Support HK Tech 300 (http://www.cityu.edu.hk/hktech300/) general operation which includes Angel Fund, Seed Fund, and other startup incubation and networking programmes;

Handle the recruitment, promotion, and application and selection process of the funding programme;

Serve as the panel secretary for the selection interviews, provide logistics and administrative support for various panel meetings, including preparation of documents and reports;
-
Maintain close communication with startup teams, track their progress and understand their business and operations;

Assist in planning and implementation of collaboration activities and events; and
-
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the technology and innovation ecosystem or sizable public organisation(s).;

Abilities to attend to details and work independently and efficiently under pressure;

Proficiency in computer skills; good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders;

Good organisational and problem-solving skills; and
-
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are required.
The expected service duration is approximately 6 months, tentatively from August 2025 to February 2026, subject to further confirmation.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Salary offered will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental consultations at the campus clinic.
