Job Description
Duties
The Department of Data Science is looking for an experienced high-calibre candidate with excellent organisational and administrative skills to provide a wide range of executive support to undergraduate programmes, outreach and administrative matters. Key duties include to:

Support the Associate Head and Programme Leaders in planning, implementation, development, and promotion of undergraduate programmes;

Administer and manage all the administrative and academic aspects of undergraduate programmes, including accreditation and committee work;
-
Manage class scheduling, timetable coordination, curriculum development, examinations, quality assurance and assessment;
-
Monitor student study progress, student affairs (including admission, appeal and complaints), and academic dishonesty;
-
Design and organise new activities and competitions to engage UG students;
-
Coordinate new scholarship programmes for students;
-
Assist in other outreach activities, exchange matters, orientation, graduation ceremonies, marketing, alumni events, etc;

Handle other departmental administrative duties and ad hoc projects; and
-
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of full-time relevant programme management experience at the executive level, preferably in a tertiary institution;

Professional and proactive work attitude with excellent time management, communication, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills;

Being responsible, self-motivated, attentive to details, innovative, and able to work both independently and in a team;
-
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and
-
Strong computer literacy are required.

Experience in office administration and project management would be an advantage.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
