Job Description

Duties

The appointee will provide logistics and clerical support for the CityUHK Foundation Secretariat, cultivation activities and general office administration. Major duties include assisting in the preparation of donor membership statistics and reports, communication and event materials; organising a full range of event logistics; maintaining the Foundation membership system; updating websites; and performing any other duties as assigned.

Irregular working hours may occasionally be required.

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 3 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience in marketing/public relations/event management. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); good teamwork and interpersonal skills; attention to details; ability to work independently under tight schedules; a strong sense of responsibility; and computer literacy in English and Chinese word processing, Excel and PowerPoint are required. Knowledge of membership management and design software (such as Photoshop and Illustrator) would be an advantage.

Candidates with more than 6 years’ relevant post-qualification working experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Assistant I.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
