Electrician/ Mechanical Technician 電/機械技術員 (Waste to Energy)

Responsibilities:

• Assist Shift Charge Engineer ensure to safe, smooth, and efficient operation of the WTE plant and equipment which include refuse reception, refuse handling, waste incineration, heal recovery, power generation, flue gas treatment, ash and fly ash handling, building services, power distribution and export, demineralized and desalinated water and wastewater treatment.
• To operate WTE plant equipment in a safe, smooth, and efficient manner.
• To enforce refuse mixing & screening procedure prior to feeding process equipment.
• To provide support in WTE operation activities and ensure safety procedures and system performance are complied with and achieved.
• To perform plant routine inspections periodically and effectively.
• To assist inspection, testing and changeover of equipment.
• To monitor process parameters of equipment operated, report abnormalities detected and inform shift Charge Engineer to maintain performance of plant processes.
• To assist in performing isolation and normalization of plant equipment for maintenance.
• To assist Shift Charge Engineer to attend to Plant emergencies.
• To monitor and maintain boiler and turbine loads as prescribed.
• To assist in inspecting equipment, record entries into operator logs, and communicate with other operators to assess equipment/plant operating status.
• To assist Shift Charge Engineer in taking charge of plant operations alter office hours.
• Any other duty as assigned by Shift Charge Engineer or Plant Management.
• 協助技術主任／輪班主管工程師確保垃圾焚化發電廠（WTE）及其設備的安全、順暢及高效運作，涵蓋垃圾接收、垃圾處理、垃圾焚化、熱能回收、發電、煙氣處理、底灰及飛灰處理、樓宇設施、電力分配與輸出、去離子水與海水淡化，以及廢水處理。
• 以安全、順暢及高效的方式操作垃圾焚化發電廠設備。
• 在投料至工藝設備前，執行垃圾混合及篩選程序。
• 支援垃圾焚化發電廠的運作工作，並確保遵守安全程序及達到系統性能要求。
• 定期及有效地執行廠房的例行巡查。
• 協助設備的檢查、測試及切換工作。
• 監控所操作設備的工藝參數，回報發現的異常情況，並通知輪班主管工程師以維持廠房工藝流程的表現。
• 協助進行設備的隔離及恢復操作以進行維修。
• 協助輪班主管工程師處理廠房緊急情況。
• 按規定監控及維持鍋爐及汽輪機的負載。
• 協助檢查設備、記錄操作日誌，並與其他操作人員溝通以評估設備／廠房的運作狀況。
• 協助輪班主管工程師在辦公時間以外接管廠房運作。
• 履行輪班主管工程師或廠房管理層指派的其他職責。

Requirements:

• DSE/ F.5 or above (Diploma or above, knowledge in Chemical/Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering will be an advantage. )
• Relevant working experience in industrial plant (such as waste to energy, water-treatment or power) would be an advantage.  Fresh graduates will also be considered.
• Meticulous and self-driven.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Having exposure in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 will be an advantage.
• DSE/中五畢業 (持有文憑或以上學歷，具備化學／機械／電機工程知識者優先)。
• 具備工廠（如垃圾焚化發電、水處理或電力）相關工作經驗者優先，亦歡迎應屆畢業生申請。
• 做事細心，具自我驅動力。
• 具良好溝通能力及領導技巧。
• 曾接觸 ISO 9001、ISO 14001 及 ISO 45001 者優先。
