Duties
The appointee will play a key role in providing full support for Foundation Secretariat including membership administration, event management and publicity of the Foundation. Major duties include organising fundraising events such as Foundation Dinner and other stewardship activities; preparing communication and promotional materials such as Foundation Annual Report and e-Newsletter; administrating membership of Foundation members and supporting the Board of Governors meeting; and performing any other assignments as required.
Irregular working hours may be required.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years’ post-qualification working experience, preferably in event management, marketing, public relations or communication services. Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills; good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); ability to work competently in a fast-paced environment with strong responsibility; being a good team player with great attention to details; and good knowledge of computer software applications (e.g. Word, Excel and PowerPoint) are required. Experience in fundraising and publicity works would be an advantage.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Development Officer II.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
