Job Description
Position Purpose
This position works closely with the Head of Corporate Communications to lead the Agency's social media presence, support social media strategy and event management. This role is central to leverage data and analytics from platforms to guide decision-making, demonstrate clear ROI, and enhance Agency's brand reputation.
Principal Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end corporate social media strategy across all key online platforms. This includes content creation, community engagement, and brand management;

Monitor, analyze, and report on social media and event performance metrics. Use this data to derive actionable insights, optimize campaigns, and prove the value of communications efforts to business goals;

Familiar with software tool including salesforce to track communication campaign influence on donor engagement and fundraising status;

Plan and execute a calendar of corporate events, from concept and logistics to promotion and post-event follow-up, ensuring they effectively support brand and business development goals;

Plan and execute research surveys (e.g., brand perception, campaign effectiveness) to gather critical stakeholder insights for decision-making;

Collaborate with programme teams to develop compelling narratives, photo stories, and multimedia content that highlight the impact of HKRC’s humanitarian work; and

Proactively monitor digital channels to manage brand sentiment and mitigate potential reputation risks.
Entry Requirement

Bachelor degree, preferably with major in communications, journalism, translation, or related disciplines.

Minimum of 5 years work experience with a strong track record and portfolio of various projects;

Proven professional experience in a corporate communications role with a strong focus on social media management;

Hands-on experience with social media platforms and analytics tools;

Demonstrable familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM; experience using data for reporting is essential;

Solid experience in managing corporate events from planning to execution;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives for different audiences;

Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in meeting deadlines;

Excellent command of English and Chinese, both written and oral (including Putonghua); and
-
Previous work experience in NGOs is a definite advantage.
