Computational Scientist

• Solving practical problems by using computational skills and cross-category approaches of data mining / statistics / artificial intelligence / mathematical optimization;
• Utilize user characteristics and behavior data, textual data, image data and multimedia data for data mining and model building analysis;
• Participate in client research to collect requirement, prepare reports such as user behavior analysis, model highlights.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Engineering, or Science related disciplines;
• Experience in programming with at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, C++;
• Good at analytical thinking with mathematics knowledge;
• Good master of foundation theories and approaches of data mining or statistics field;
• Knowledge on data structure and algorithm is preferable; Experience on processing mass data, model building, and formulate real-world problem by mathematical approach is preferred;
• Knowledge on machine learning or statistics field with experience on data mining projects is preferred;
• Knowledge on database is an advantage;
• Team spirit, proactive in idea sharing with good communication skills (Chinese and English);
• Preference will be given to candidates with high integrity, team spirit, strong sense of responsibility, and passion for the application of modern computing technology in real-world problems.
