Job Description
Responsibilities:

Carry out research and development (R&D) on frontier topics in applying machine learning to weather prediction and computational fluid dynamics for urban environments;

Train models that learn atmospheric data and meanwhile be consistent with physical laws;

Write technical reports, documentation or slides;
-
Collaborate with academic sector with targets on publishing papers;
-
Develop a cloud-computing software platform for serving users
Requirements:
-
Master degree or above in Physics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or related discipline;

Strong background in machine learning, deep neural networks and cost function optimization techniques;
-
Strong background in computer usages and programming skills; Experience with Linux/MacOS, computer languages and tools (Python and its packages);

Good understanding of Physics, in particular fluid dynamics and thermodynamics, and weather science would be an advantage;
-
Candidate with higher academic qualification and/or more related experience may be considered as Senior Computational Scientist;

Good logical thinking and analytical mind;
-
Eager to learn, responsive with a can-do attitude at work, willing to take up challenges;
-
Team player, proactive in idea sharing with good communication skills;
-
Good spoken and written Cantonese/Mandarin and/or English.
