About the role
As a Market Development Manager at Gold Way 9, you will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships to drive business growth. This is a full-time position based in Admiralty, Central and Western District. You will work closely with the director of the company to identify and nurture new opportunities in Hong Kong and South-East Asia.
What you'll be doing
Proactively identify and pursue new client opportunities to expand the company's customer base, specifically in Hong Kong and South-East Asia
- Identify and communicate client needs, and collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement strategic account plans
- Assist in the development of client-facing marketing and sales materials
What we're looking for
Associate's degree or above in related fields.
2+ Years of prior experience in other food wholesale companies, thorough understanding of market research methodologies and marketing strategies
Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
- Proven track record of success in a client-facing sales or account management role
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering value to clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
