ASSISTANT QA ENGINEER (TOYS/NURSERY/HARDLINES)

Job Description

Arrange the product testing & certification for customer orders and closely follow-up with test lab/suppliers/internal team on all issues

·         Work with factories & 3rd Party testing lab for sample drawing and submission

·         Help to provide requested technical information and reports/certs to customers

·         Follow up on Corrective & Prevention Action Plan with our vendors/factories after customer’s audit, to ensure they can comply with customer’s requirements

·         Maintain the testing/audit spreadsheets and test doc in highly accurate

·         Follow up quality improvement plans for suppliers/factories based on inspection findings or complaint from customers

·         Review product samples in terms of workmanship, construction, compliance with US/EU norms/ standards/directive, work on problem solving actively with test lab, supplier, engineer

• Check artwork, IM, labels in terms of legal compliance & accuracy of technical specs
• Any other ad-hoc task or duties as required.

Requirements

·         Diploma or above in engineering or quality or other disciplines

·         Knowledge in Quality Tools will be an advantage

·         Self-motivated, good problem solving, communication skills & inter-personal skills, strong team player

·         Willing to learn, be patient, able to work independently and under pressure

·         Good command of both written and oral English & Putonghua

·         Good at operation of Microsoft Office & Advanced Excel skill set

·         Willing to travel and short stay in China if necessary
