Job Description
Assistant Officer in the Office of the Senior Vice-President (Innovation and Enterprise) [Ref. R/149/25]
The appointee will provide administrative and logistic support to the Ecosystem team of the Office. The team aims to build up a comprehensive start-up ecosystem in the territory and beyond by fostering partnership with stakeholders including incubators, investors, start-ups, entrepreneurs, etc.
Duties
Main duties include:

Event support: Assist in organising events including competitions, workshops, seminars, networking sessions, and innovation showcases by coordinating logistics, registrations, and participant communication;

Ecosystem support: Assist in supporting local and non-local start-up teams;

Data input and management: Input and update data accurately for HK Tech 300 ecosystem related database, including electronic filing, database and related documents;

Office coordination: Coordinate office logistics such as scheduling appointments, arranging meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining office supplies inventory; and

General administrative duties: Undertake any other duties assigned to ensure efficient office operations.
Occasional travels outside of Hong Kong may be required.
Requirements
5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); high proficiency in using MS Office applications and Chinese word-processing; good interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills, being detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility; and ability to work independently and efficiently with initiatives are required. Proficiency in IT and social media are preferred. Work experience in start-up incubation related areas would be an advantage.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
