Job Description
The Division of Integrative Systems and Design is looking for a high caliber individual to perform a wide spectrum of administrative duties to support the daily operation of the self-financed taught postgraduate programs, research postgraduate programs and promotion work of the division, including but not limited to the followings:
- Managing curriculum, course offering and class scheduling;
- Administering program admissions and promotion of the division;
- Liaising with internal and external units on course and program matters, and collaboration with academic and professional partners;
- Organizing student activities and workshop/seminars;
- Providing academic advice to students and handling enquiries; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Working outside normal office hours and outside Hong Kong is occasionally required.
Applicants should have a bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience preferably in tertiary institutions. They should be self-motivated, attentive to details and highly organized. They should enjoy interacting with students; and be dynamic and able to multi-task and work under tight timelines. Excellent communication skills with high proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese are required. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
